When I was in Portland last month, my aunt and I stopped in a mall (Pioneer Place? Pioneer Mall? idk) and there it was: a bebe. It was majestic. I've loved bebe from afar for quite awhile now. There's not one in Iowa. Not even close. There's one in Minneapolis, one in Chicago, and maybe one in Kansas City or St. Louis or something. Anyway, it'd been a long time since I'd been in an actual, physical bebe store. So I went in, and let's just say I'm pretty stoked to be (soon) living in a city with not one, but TWO of them. Not that I could afford to go there all the time. Hell naw. But I can still appreciate it...any maybe splurge every once in awhile. Anyway, here's some of my new faves:

Ear-gasm: Macklemore's "Same Love"
I came across this video while reading a blog post - An open letter to the church from my generation. The author wrote about going to a Macklemore concert in a tiny South Dakota town and this song came on, a song about acceptance of gay love. And despite everything, the crowd was "thirsty for those words." It was a really spectacular blog post about how the Church is going to lose an entire generation unless they change how they're treating and responding to the gay movement. Anyway, awesome song. Just awesome.
