What's on my wish list this year? Well, Santa, thanks for asking. I've got it all picked out for you. First of all, I need a new purse, badly. A winter coat is next on my list since my old one was tragically ruined in drunken shenanigans last winter. This one from H&M is practical and super cute. Next is makeup. My Coverblend, some Urban Decay, and OPI. That pillow there in the corner? I had no idea that I wanted it until I saw it. Now I must have it. It would look soooo good in my living room! Next is a clothes steamer, because I loathe ironing, some lululemon workout clothes and some tights & leggings. I also need a new watch because...well...another drunken stupor. This time it was a midnight swim when I was in San Diego in August. Silly me, I forgot to take it off before I ran into the ocean. And it was so pretty too! But so is this Fossil one. Finally, if you're really stuck on what to get me, Santa, wine is always a good choice. Chardonnay is my favie.

Workout Wednesday: Sweat in Style
Maybe if I had gear like this I'd enjoy working out more...
...yea that's just wishful thinking. But I can't deny I'd look good in this!

Meow Monday: Winnie judging me
Mom. You're in the shower. It's wet in there. How stupid are you?

I'm keeping your guests company since you're such a terrible host!
MAHM you've been watching The West Wing for 18 hours straight. I think it might be time we talked about your priorities...
Mind you, these are all just from the past 2 weeks or so. Recent judgments. There are more.

Feminst Friday: BITCH
Btw - the girl on the right? She goes to my alma mater. I'm kind of in awe. I wish I was that cool as a freshman.

Theta Thursday: Alum News
So it's been about 6 months that I've been graduated, and hence, no longer an active Theta. But Theta does a really terrific job of keeping alums close. Our local chapter has a monthly Kite Night where alums in town get together for drinks or dinner and catch up with each other. When I was active, everyone was within 3 years of me. Now I'm meeting alums that have been out of college for 20 or 30 years. Their experiences of Theta are so much different than mine, but they're still similar, because things like ritual, values, and sisterhood have continued on for more than a hundred years.
Back in September, I helped out with recruitment (photo above) where I got to hang out with a bunch of other alums and creep on PNMs in the process ;)
This past week, we had a Christmas party at my chapter and alums could come and bring their kids. There was hot chocolate and snacks, and even cookie decorating and ornament making. And one of my bunny family members was Santa! It was kind of awkward because Katrina is NOT a kid person, and she had these kids climbing on her lap and asking for barbies and such. Her face was one of sheer terror every time another little one came over to her. The whole night was obviously kid-oriented, but I still had a lot of fun!
